  Hotplate Stirrers

Stuart offers a comprehensive range of hotplate stirrers, units are available in two sizes 16x16cm and 30x30cm. 30x30cm units all have simple analogue control and are available with either a robust metal alloy surface or a chemically resistant ceramic one.

The 16x16cm units are available with simple analogue control, digital control and there are also units that are analogue but can be controlled by a seperate temperature controller. All are available with metal or ceramic surfaces. There is also an infra red model the CR302 which offers infra red heating rather than resistance elements, allowing for faster heating rates.

The Stuart range of stirrers consists of ceramic or metal 16x16cm surface units, the SB161-3 three position stirrer, with individual speed control. The SB301 heavy duty stirrer, capable of mixing up to 30 litres. And the SM27 portable stirrer, which can be run from a mains supply or if necessary in the field from standard "D" type batteries, or even with the optional adaptor via a vehicle power outlet.

The Stuart range of hotplates are available in a range of sizes, the smallest being 16x16cm, the medium sized units are 30x30cm and the largest are 30x50cm. Most units are available with analogue or digital control and with a ceramic or metal surface. The CP300 has been specifically designed for acid resistance for those applications where boiling acid for long periods of time is necessary. The CR300 infra red hotplate offers infra red heating rather than traditional resistance elements, this gives the greatest control available and fastest heat up times.
